A 24 HOUR emergency service staffed by our own vets in all cases
Unlike many veterinary practices these days, we pride ourselves in providing a 24 hour emergency service that is staffed by our own vets in all cases. We have two veterinary surgeons and a nurse on duty at all times giving you peace of mind that there is a depth of experience to call upon for advice at any time of day for any type of veterinary problem.
In the case of a veterinary emergency occurring out of hours you will always be able to speak directly to one of our vets who will advise you on the most appropriate course of action. The contact number of the first call duty veterinarian can be obtained by telephoning the practice on the usual number at any time of day or night.

Our In House lab equipment lets us give you same-day reports in most cases
On site up to date laboratory equipment will process routine biochemistry, electrolyte and haematological samples. We also process our own worm egg counts and parasite analyses. This enables a rapid turnover of results ensuring that all urgent results will be reported to you the same day that the samples were taken and non urgent cases within 24 hours. For non routine samples we use a range of external laboratory services in order to ensure that you get the most accurate and appropriate results and advice possible.
There is always someone available on the phone for advice
Our vets are always happy to provide over the phone advice. We do not charge for this service.
Home visits for pets when appropriate
Although in most cases it is much more desirable to bring pets into the practice, where we can offer the fullest range of diagnostic techniques and treatment, we understand that there may be circumstances when it is not appropriate or maybe not possible for you to do this. Under most circumstances we have the facility to arrange a home visit with one of our veterinary surgeons.
Free Nurse Clinics
All our nurses are experienced and fully qualified. They run a variety of free nurses' clinics including Senior Pets and Weight Watchers and are happy to give free nutritional advice.
