Meet the Team – Office Staff

Practice Manager

Alex Holman

Alex Holman

Alex joined the practice January 2008 and has many years experience within the animal health and veterinary sector, spending the previous seven years working as an Account Manager in the pharmaceutical industry for one of our major drug suppliers. Alex regularly visited many veterinary surgeries in her previous role and has a comprehensive understanding of veterinary practice. About the role Alex says ‘No two days are the same in my job, I enjoy the variety and the constant challenge to improve the level of service we offer our clients and their animals’.

In her spare time Alex can often be found on the tennis court or walking her dog Baggy, usually at some unearthly hour in the morning. Living locally, Alex will already be familiar to many of our farm, equine and small animal clients.

Office Staff and Receptionists

Di Pollard

Di Pollard

Di used to work for the NFU but has been an integral part of the Town and Country team for longer than she can remember! She does her best to keep the vets under control and to ensure that they book in their work on time. Di has a British Blue Shorthair cat called Archie.

Carole Bramley

Carole Bramley

Carole came to work with the practice seven and a half years ago after leaving the Post Office in Naseby. She particularly enjoys the farm side of the practice and is responsible for drug orders and stock control. She enjoys walking her dogs but perhaps not being kept up all night by her springer pup Mushu!

Maggie Williams

Maggie Williams

Prior to joining us at Town and Country, Maggie has spent most of her life working in banking. She says she felt it was time for a change, and finds her work both varied and enjoyable.

Jill Malkin

Jill Malkin

Jill’s previous job was on the reception desk at Kettering General Hospital A and E department. She says she enjoys working for Town and Country and finds that the patients here are far less likely to bite than in her last job! Jill lives in North Kilworth and has a stray cat called Izzy.

Chris Wilesmith

Chris Wilesmith

Chris worked as the bursar at Ridgeway Primary School for 14 years and then as a ward clark at St Lukes Hospital before joining us. She enjoys the variety that working for Town and Country offers and says that two days are never the same! Chris has a rescue dog called Jake.
