Our fully qualified team of nurses run a wide range of clinics and are able to advise you on many areas of pet health. Many of these consultations are completely free of charge.

Nursing clinics provided by Town and Country Veterinary Centre:
- Puppy/Kitten consults
Flea and worming advice, weight check, neutering advice, general behaviour guidelines, advice regarding the care and requirements of your new pet and a chance to introduce your pet to the practice before their first vaccination. - Senior Clinics
Weight and nutrition advice including information regarding nutritional supplements. A general health, dental and mobility check up. - Diabetic Monitoring
Urine and blood glucose monitoring, dietry advice. - Weight Management Clinics
These will include a tailor made dietry plan for your animal, and practical exercise and management advice in order to maximise the health of your pet whether it is weight gain or weight loss that is required. - Dental Clinics
Get your pet’s teeth checked over, our nurses can advise you whether they need treatment and how you can best care for them and prevent future problems. - Flea and Worm Treatment
Are you unsure whether your pet has fleas? Do you struggle to get your cat to take a worming tablet? Do you have young children and want advice about parasite control in your pet to ensure the health of your family? - Nutrition Advice
Advice as to how much and what you should be feeding your pet to optimise their health at their different life stages. - Multi Species Nail Clipping
- Rabbit Checks including dental check
- Post operative check ups and stitch removal
Nurse Consults for which there may be a charge:
- Behaviour consultations
- Bandage changes and wound management
- Microchipping
- Anal gland emptying.
Our nurses are able to perform routine examination and empty anal glands if your dog or cat has a persistent problem. They will recognise if there is a problem that requires veterinary attention. - Second vaccinations
